Heinrich Lossow was a well-known German genre painter and illustrator of the 2nd half of the 19th century. He was pupil of Professor Piloty at the Munich Academy and known for genre scenes with Rococo costumes and book illustrations. Works by Heinrich Lossow can be seen in museums of Munich, Linz, Minneapolis and other museums.
