Elizabeth Parrott Pond was born in 1849 after her father and brother, famous Oregon landscape painter William Samuel Parrott, moved from Missouri to Oregon in 1847. In 1859, her father Lewis moved the family to the Klickitat Valley in SW Washington. She painted in a very similar style to her brother, William, and of similar mountain landscape subject matter. She lived in Seattle by 1915 and at 113th Bryn Maur, Seattle by 1934.
